ARABIC INTERNATIONAL COURSE This language course has been developed by applying principles used in the “Language by Association (Pictures)” methodology. The Arabic Language course consists of three levels and explanations are in English, French and German, for the first couple of pages. Level one comprises about 50 lessons of approximately 30 to 50 minutes each. The student will learn how to use over 400 words that have carefully been selected for frequency and usefulness, in about 1200 sentences. There are a series of exercises to test the students understanding. The first level has been designed to teach a student who has never seen, heard or spoken the language before. It is also essential to any student that has some basic understanding of the language, that they revise the basics so as to further his or her studies of the language. On completion of this level, the student will be able to understand the basics of the target language, as well as make himself / herself understood. Level two contains about 50 lessons of 20 to 50 minutes and a further 700 basic words used in about 1200 sentences. Level three is intended for advanced students who have a good working knowledge of Arabic at least to the level normally reached at the end of “Arabic Level II”. You should be capable of understanding and of expressing yourself in non-specialised Arabic. This level contains 56 lessons of 25 to 40 minutes and will enlarge the active vocabulary by 1000 words. Topics learnt will include the Arabic alphabet, Greetings, Basic Conversation, The Home, Time, Nature, Family, The Human Body, Money etc. This course is available on |
