HEBREW – INTERNATIONAL COURSE

This language course has been developed by applying principles used in the “Language by Association (Pictures)” courses.  This course consists of three levels and explanations are in English, French and German.

Levels one and two comprise of about 120 lessons of approximately 20 to 30 minutes each.  The student will learn how to use over 650 basic words that have carefully been selected for frequency and usefulness, in about 2400 sentences.  There are a series of exercises to test the students understanding.

The first and second levels have been designed to teach a student who has never seen, heard or spoken the language before.  It is also essential to any student that has some basic understanding of the language, that they revise the basics so as to further his or her studies of the language.  On completion of this level, the student will be able to understand the basics of the target language, as well as make him/herself understood. These levels consist of approximately 1000 words.

The third level is intended for advanced students who have a good working knowledge of Hebrew – at least to the level normally reached at the end of “Hebrew Level II”.  You should be capable of understanding and of expressing yourself in non-specialised Hebrew.  This level contains 56 lessons of 25 to 40 minutes and will enlarge the active vocabulary by 1000 new words.

Topics learnt will include the Hebrew alphabet, Greetings, Basic Conversation, The Home, Time, Nature, Family, The Human Body, Money etc.
